The Forest City Nurse Honor Guard is driven by our mission to honor nurses upon their death. We are happy to perform all or a combination of the services listed below. Our services are entirely free and are designed solely to celebrate the deceased nurse's life and to comfort their loved ones.

Request The Honor Guard

As the Forest City Nurse Honor Guard, we can:

Attend visitation, funeral, or other memorial service wearing the traditional white nurse’s uniform

Stand guard at the casket or simply provide a presence at the visitation

Recite "A Nurse's Prayer" at the funeral or special service

Recite The Nightingale Tribute and present the Florence Nightingale Lamp to the family

Place a white rose on the nurse's casket, urn, or memorial display as a reminder of their dedication to the nursing profession
